James began his career as a welder on oil and gas construction projects and went on to start HUD Welding & Construction, providing construction and maintenance services for midstream companies and generating annual revenues of $3 million. After selling HUD, James formed Tri-H Construction to offer not only construction and maintenance services, but also providing personnel, equipment and logistical support for plant turnarounds. Tri-H was sold to Mitchell Energy and James was retained to oversee construction and maintenance of Mitchell’s Liquid Energy Assets. He later purchased the construction and maintenance group from Mitchell and began Millsap Construction Services, as well as Millsap Technical Services, providing instrumentation and electrical services to the midstream sector. Millsap Mechanical Services, which he also established, performed the overhaul, repair and packaging of natural gas compressor equipment. James’ background as a construction and maintenance expert, project manager and business owner and consultant, have established him as a respected specialist in the oil and gas industry.
